April 2021 Blog Hop - Team Ingenuity Inkers

Updated: Apr 28

This month we decided to showcase the Hydrangea Hill suite. I chose to make a gift card holder-card.

This project was inspired by Sharon Armstrong, www.txstampinsharon.com, a Stampin'Up! Independent Demonstrator. It is very simple in design (but looks a bit elegant), so crafters of all skill levels should be able to accomplish this project.

Supplies list (for this card):

  • Gorgeous Grape cardstock

  • Basic white cardstock

  • Hydrangea Haven stamp set and dies (for the little tag)

  • Gorgeous Grape ink pad

  • Gorgeous Grape ribbon

  • Snailed It pink baker's twine

  • Punch or dies to create the thumb notch

  • Adhesive of choice (I used Stampin' Seal and Tombow liquid. Tear-n-tape is also good for the gift card portion.)

Inside of gift card holder:

Of course, almost all of Stampin'Up! designer series paper is two-sided, so you may opt to flip one of the panels to show the reverse side of these beautiful papers.

I can't provide the exact instructions in written form due to copyright, but if you are interested, I can set up a class on how to make this card. I look forward to the opportunity!
