Like most of us, I am different things to different people. There are some not-so-little people who call me Grandma; there are others who call me Sergeant (Retired Army). To yet others I am Miss Toni/the craft lady.
I was first introduced to Stampin'Up! in the mid-2000s by a fellow veteran. She started Cards for Soldiers and would hold small workshops using SU products to make cards, not only to the service-members, but for them to send back to their own families.
Fast forward 15 years-I began caring for my parents. I got hooked on watching several Stampin'Up! demonstrators on YouTube. I decided I needed something that would allow me to work from home. Enter Stampin'Up!. So now I strive to pass on my love for handmade cards and papercrafting with others. This past year has shown us what separation and isolation can do to people, and a cheerful, handmade card can do a lot to let them know they are thought of and loved.
I chose to join Stampin'Up! because I appreciate how their products are designed to together. The color coordination between the paper, card stock and ink is top-notch. They have some of the most gorgeous designer series paper, and on the package, it lets the user know what colors coordinate with it. One is only limited by their own creativity, and Stampin'Up definitely inspires creativity!
